The story behind Nightspell
It’s so lovely that you’re curious about how this set came to life!
This was one of the very first journal sets we ever designed, so naturally, we had to fill it with two of our favourite things: moons and stars.
We instantly fell in love with the colours of our Ember Stationery brand, so we decided to make them the foundation of this set. From there, we started thinking about what we would actually love to use in our own journal. The answer quickly became clear: whimsygoth.
It’s a style we absolutely adore, but one you don’t often come across in the big stationery stores. We wanted to create something that felt a little more magical, a little mysterious and a little more like us. And we have a feeling we're not the only one who has been looking for that.
What's Included in the Nightspell Journal Set?
The Nightspell Journal Set is filled with celestial details and versatile journaling supplies to help you bring a little magic to your pages. Whether you love decorating your junk journal, creating scrapbook spreads or adding personal touches to your reading journal, there are plenty of ways to make this set your own.
Inside, you'll find eight scrapbook paper sheets featuring four different designs. Mix and match them across multiple journal pages, cut out smaller details or use them as backgrounds for photos, notes and memories. You'll also find alphabet stickers for creating your own headers and titles, perfect for introducing a new journal entry or giving a scrapbook page a personal touch.
And then there are the four decorative labels, each with its own unique design. Use one on a journal title page, frame a favourite photo, highlight a special date or add a little decoration to a weekly spread. With so many different elements to choose from, you can spread them across several pages rather than using everything at once.

One of our favourite things about the Nightspell Journal Set is how versatile it is. You can combine the papers, alphabet stickers and labels for a coordinated look, or use just a few pieces at a time alongside other journal supplies you already own.
