The making of stardust

A Little Bit of Moonlight & Stardust

When we started designing our very first journal sets, we honestly didn’t know exactly what we wanted to create yet. We only knew one thing for sure: We wanted to include stars and the moon. They had already become such a big part of our branding, and we are really proud of how much they had come to represent us.

At the time, we were especially inspired by the contrast between light and dark, black and white. That contrast naturally became the starting point for this collection. We combined the moon and stars with delicate, flowing movements of stardust swirling around them, creating a celestial design that feels both dreamy and elegant.

Because the designs themselves were already quite detailed, we wanted to keep the colour palette simple. Just black and white.

Although… we quickly ran into a little problem: we couldn’t decide whether we liked the black stickers with white detailsor the white stickers with black details more. And well… what are you supposed to do when you simply can’t choose? Obviously, the only logical solution was to make both. Problem solved. Haha!

And that’s how two contrasting sticker sheets came to life. They are essentially opposites of each other, making them perfect if you love having both variations available for your journal spreads.

Versatile journaling stickers for every kind of page

One of our favourite things about this set is how versatile it is. Even though the collection has a celestial feel with its moons, stars and stardust, the stickers can easily be used for all kinds of journal themes and layouts.

They work beautifully in a junk journal, scrapbook, planner or memory journal, and because of the simple black-and-white colour palette, they can fit into almost any spread.

We wanted the scrapbook paper to have that same simplicity. Since the sticker designs already have quite a lot of detail, we kept the journal scrapbook paper a little more understated.

The set includes one A5 scrapbook paper design featuring a block-style layout, along with two A4 designs with a slightly simpler pattern. And, of course, they also come in contrasting black-and-white versions.

One journal kit, so many possibilities

We're honestly so happy with how this set turned out. And we think that feeling is even more special because this was one of the first journal sets we ever designed. There’s just something about your first collection that gives it a permanent little place in your heart.

What we also love is how much you can create with just one kit. You can use the different papers and journaling stickers together to create completely different looks and themes.

For example, we used this collection for a Halloween journal page in a 2025 Timeline Journal, and it worked perfectly. But I can also imagine using it for a cosy night-in spread, a dreamy evening out, a night-sky themed page, or simply a beautiful everyday journal spread.

And that’s probably our favourite part: the possibilities are endless.

Whether you love celestial journaling, moon and star stickers, black-and-white scrapbook paper, junk journaling, or simply enjoy creating pretty journal pages, we hope this little collection gives you just as much joy and inspiration as it has given us.

Thank you so much for supporting our very first journal . It will always be a special one to us. 🤍
